Dressing Dolls in Style is a book about how to take a picture of an original doll’s dress and recreate that costume for a specific doll. Also included in the book are “secrets” for perfecting your skills in sewing for dolls. This 75-page book has lessons for the beginning seamstress as well as the expert.
The intersection of dolls and sewing has consumed Patti from an early age. She has taught sewing students, from junior high beginners through high school and community college advanced couture tailoring classes. This booklet is designed to share that enthusiasm and process with you in the hopes of expanding your thoughts, ideas, and skills so you can enhance your creative expression.

Early in my career, I taught sewing in the public school system, from beginning skills through advanced tailoring. This book shares that expertise and includes how to take a photo of an antique or vintage doll outfit and create one that matches it in style and expertise.
